My name is Theresa Skinner and I am a Mathematics teacher at West Central High School.  This year marks my 14th year at WCHS.  Prior to joining the staff in Hartford, I taught four years at Junction City Middle School in Junction City, Kansas and one year at Dawes Jr. High School in Lincoln, NE.  I am originally from South Dakota so coming back to the Sioux Falls area was like coming home.  I am a graduate of Armour High School in Armour, SD.  I earned my undergraduate degree in Mathematics Education from the University of South Dakota in 1990.  In the summer of 2000, I finished my graduate program and  obtained my masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Kansas State University.

My teaching responsibilities include two sections of Algebra II  along with five sections of Geometry.   In addition,  I co-advise the Junior-Senior prom with Karin Renner and coach 9th grade girls basketball.

In my spare time, I love playing tennis, going to movies, and hanging out with my family.  My husband, Bryan, works for Music Service of South Dakota in Sioux Falls.  We live in Hartford and have three children.  Our daughter Maty is in the 9th grade at WCHS.  Our oldest son Daniel (11) is a sixth grader at WCMS and Jaxon is our youngest child.  He is currently 6 years old and in first grade at Hartford Elementary.     Below are a few photos of my family and some of their friends.
